New inventory in both the city and county of Boulder dropped in October while active listings at the end of the month remained low. So, how did this affect prices? It depends.

In the city of Boulder, median single-family home prices increased from $1,191,500 the prior month to $1,370,000 in October. Across the county, prices increased by just $5K, while Longmont prices dipped from $645,155 to $587,500  that's still up 6.5% year-over-year, not a bad number at all.

As for attached properties, the median price in the city of Boulder dropped significantly from $610,500 the prior month to $442,500 in October. Numbers were also down across the county yet up slightly in Longmont where the year-over-year gain reached 28.2%.
